Re: Indiana City - IndyCity - 09-07-2012 Thank you all. News from my paint shop: freshly painted models for my fictional "Indiana Transfer Railway" It still lacks decals and paint on details. E-33 #150 and Caboose #16 RDC #1010 Re: Indiana City - Ralph - 09-07-2012 That's an eye catching scheme! I like it! Re: Indiana City - mountaingoatgreg - 09-07-2012 That is sharp looking, has the look of a commuter or electric operation. Are you getting custom made decals made or will these just have simple lettering? Re: Indiana City - IndyCity - 09-07-2012 Greg, a pic is better than words Re: Indiana City - IndyCity - 11-04-2012 For the next time I have stopped laying tracks and pulled all segments off the wall brackets. So I can reach the corner segment which I can't model at it's place. All the other part have been brought to the cellar and the corner segment is put on stands in the middle of the room. I will finish it before it will be put back on it# wall brackets. today i started with the parking lot of the three houses of Poughkeepsie,NY. done ! now the whole area will get some light white wash and a flat coat to cover all shiny spots. Then I can model the scenery around it. Re: Indiana City - faraway - 11-04-2012 Joerg, it is looking good! Is there a specific reason you picked a building from Poughkeepsie, NY? Re: Indiana City - IndyCity - 11-04-2012 Reinhard, Only this reason: I saw the pics a friend of mine took at his travel to the USA. And when i saw this pic I though immediately that these buildings and it's parking lot has to get a place on my layout. Re: Indiana City - IndyCity - 11-11-2012 Today only one photo. The scenery material lacks. Re: Indiana City - MudHen 462 - 11-14-2012 I like your ITR paint job... and your trackwork & ballasting look great, as well. Bob Re: Indiana City - Ralph - 11-14-2012 Great masking job on the parking lot! Re: Indiana City - IndyCity - 11-18-2012 This weekend I've modeled at the large area next to the parking lot and on the former steep ramp to the upper town located on a small hill. Thereof exists only the beginning and is used sometimes. The rest is mostly degraded and overgrown. another view. Sorry for the weak flash. The area I have modulated from quartz sand and then sprinkled with sifted earth. Unfortunately, the thinned clue not dried up tonight, so I could not continue processing the surface with the grass master. And so does it look todays evening. And it was also time for this. Re: Indiana City - mountaingoatgreg - 11-18-2012 Joerg, That is really starting to come along!! Where did you pick up your scenery material from? It foes not look like the standard suppliers. Also your last photo i making me hungry!! Re: Indiana City - IndyCity - 11-19-2012 Greg, It's standart for many europeen modelers.
