Re: The beginning of my C&O New River Sub layout - up_x3985 - 12-21-2013

And now the last two modules which extend the Imperial Junction, also not yet finished:

Re: The beginning of my C&O New River Sub layout - up_x3985 - 12-21-2013

And the last one! The complete module arrangement has a measurement of 5.86 X 2.00 meters + 1.00 X 2.00 meters for the extension Module group Imperial Junction 2 + 3!
In my barn I have enough space to build a large layout, photos of the appropriate space will follow!
If assembled, the modules will form a lying "O" with a dash (Imperial Junction extension modules).

Thanks for sharing. Interesting layout. Would be curious to see eye-level shot of the village. BTW, nice little yard! I'm jealous of your engine facilities! Wish I had one track more!

I agree, Accurail's hopper (triple bay) and 40 ft gondola are really nice models for the price. If you replace the fragile gondola stirrups with metal ones, you're on business!

Here are photos from the village Imperial WVa. The prototype photo you will find in the publication "The Chesapeake&Ohio Railway in West Virginia", page 76. Probably the houses do not match the prototype, but the arrangement is nearly the same.

At first I thought I was looking at Google maps! I was looking for "Street View guy".
Then I saw your shots at eye level........Excellent! My favorites are the early morning shots of the BL2. (my girlfriend, who is also a C&O fan, liked country road).
Keep up the good work.
