Been quite a while since any activity on this thread, but was looking through some of my stuff on the computer and found this diagram that I drew up for possible inclusion in a book about the Frankfort & Cincinnati Railroad. The diagram shows the track arrangement of the Old Grandad Distillery in Frankfort, KY, as it existed in 1984. Since it's been re-sized, it may be a little difficult to make out all the details, but as you can see, this one industry could be the basis for an entire switching layout.     Even scaled down (reducing the number of car spots), plenty of switching action involved. It would often take us 4 hours to switch the real thing when the plant was in production.

Ed,That had to be a royal pain to switch..
