Josh you can never post to soon. Re: L&M Rocky Mountain Pass - tetters - 12-15-2008 Not sure if I mentioned this before, however I love the pictures of your pier construction. Going to have to borrow some ideas when I get to constructing my own. Re: L&M Rocky Mountain Pass - doctorwayne - 12-15-2008 Lookin' good, Lynn. I especially like your choice of colours for the foliage and other ground cover. Wayne Re: L&M Rocky Mountain Pass - LynnB - 12-15-2008 Thanks Wayne for the encouagement. Re: L&M Rocky Mountain Pass - Tom - 12-16-2008 Looking great! I especially like your greenery. Your trees are some of the best I've seen, VERY nicely done. I noticed that "Cities Service" black 40' tank car and really miss running those on my layout since I updated to the late 1970's/early 1980's time frame for my railroad. Just something about those CS tank cars, I just really liked them. Looking forward to more progress pics. Re: L&M Rocky Mountain Pass - LynnB - 12-16-2008 Thanks Tom , I've been working on the layout all nite tonight I used up at least 8 cups of ground goop , got soem brick abutments installed and lots of semi finished ground work , I;ll post pics as soon as I can. Re: L&M Rocky Mountain Pass - cnw1961 - 12-17-2008 OOPS  , that went wrong  Re: L&M Rocky Mountain Pass - cnw1961 - 12-17-2008 Lynn, good to see new pic of your layout. The wharf and the structures around your little harbor are simply awesome. I especially like the coloring of the deck of your wharf, did you do it with india ink? How do you want to fill your harbor with "water"? Re: L&M Rocky Mountain Pass - Steve - 12-17-2008 Lynn....everything is as it should be.........SWEET!!!!!! Love your work....always have! Keep up the excellent progress! Re: L&M Rocky Mountain Pass - sgtcarl1 - 12-17-2008 No need to ask if I'm impressed.....I AM!!! Re: L&M Rocky Mountain Pass - Sarge - 12-17-2008 Lynn, that is some awesome work and great pics Love the turntable Re: L&M Rocky Mountain Pass - kettlestack - 12-17-2008 Good heavens Lynne, you don't think small do you! :o You've put a great deal of effort into your layout and I'm impressed to hell I adore your backdrop and the rockwork which looks fantastic with the folliage. I'm gleening ideas from your excellent stuctures (I love timber built structures). You must have the patience of Jobe to constuct that warf sub structure (I hate have to do repetitive work). You obviously have a good eye for colour too, your weathering is impressive. Everything is hanging together so very well and I certainly await with enthusiasm more pics of your progress. A great big "well done Sir" Errol |
