Gold Medal Flour Mill - Trucklover - 05-18-2009 Hey guys, i just finished off another structure this evening. I built it using 2 Walthers kits, a Red Wing Flour Mill kit and a Centennial Mills kit. I labeled this massive mill for Gold Medal Flour. The overall dimensions measure roughly 30" long 7-1/2" wide x 11" tall Here is some pics of it: If anyone is interested in purchasing this structure, here is the link to it on ebay: http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=350203732972 Comments, questions.... welcome Re: Gold Metal Flour Mill - railroader9731 - 05-19-2009 My goodness i step downfor a while do too computer issues and i see you got your own business ( ). I like the way the two kits went together. Those are pretty nicely detailed. (Although I'm sure you meant "Gold Medal". I don't think "Metal" would bake well. ) Re: Gold Metal Flour Mill - Trucklover - 05-19-2009 Herc Driver Wrote:Great looking structure! I like the way the two kits went together. Re: Gold Medal Flour Mill - Spitfire - 05-20-2009 Looks great Josh - a very believeable structure! Val Re: Gold Medal Flour Mill - nachoman - 05-20-2009 upnick Wrote:Great build Josh wish i could have structures that big on my layout. Haha! Agreed. This structure would take up half of my layout! I think the largest structure I have ever had on any of my layouts was a two stall enginehouse. My current layout I plan on a severely compressed smelter, but I don't think that will be larger than about 2 square feet. Re: Gold Medal Flour Mill - Trucklover - 05-20-2009 Nick, Val, and Kevin, thanks for the comments Kevin, what can i say, i LOVE huge structures LOL Re: Gold Medal Flour Mill - eightyeightfan1 - 05-21-2009 Does look nice. Is it a backdrop building? Re: Gold Medal Flour Mill - Trucklover - 05-21-2009 eightyeightfan1 Wrote:Does look nice. Is it a backdrop building? Thanks 88!! Yes you are correct, it is a backdrop building and has no back wall on it Re: Gold Medal Flour Mill - Brakie - 05-21-2009 Josh,Very nice.... I really love large industries.. Maybe I should commission you to build mine. Re: Gold Medal Flour Mill - Trucklover - 05-21-2009 Brakie Wrote:Josh,Very nice.... Thanks Larry!!! hehe i would be happy to build a structure.... errr 5 for you Re: Gold Medal Flour Mill - OBJack - 05-22-2009 That looks fantastic Josh, you have done an admirable job putting those two kits together. I would love to have the room to accommodate it. By the way, are you going to use your excellent skills to paint /weather the building? Or do you wait until the buyer says what he wants, before you proceed? Jack Re: Gold Medal Flour Mill - Trucklover - 05-22-2009 OBJack Wrote:That looks fantastic Josh, you have done an admirable job putting those two kits together. Thank you Jack if the buyer says he wants it weathered, then ill weather it, this is one of them that has been listed on ebay, so unless the buyer mentions he wants it weathered, then the structure will ship unweathered.... I should however mention i can weather them for an extra fee if desired after the auction ends, that might be a good idea When i custom build structures for clients, its up to them if they want them weathered, i give them my build fees and weathering fees and let them choose |
