This whole thread is great. It's a slug, from what I found out it is a rebuilt GP 18 from Norfolk Western. The NS site has it listed as stored. Here's two more, the first from Cresson, and one from South Fork, Pa. Re: Railfanning Norfolk Southern RR - LiveSteamer - 10-14-2009 Great Pictures Bruce Re: Railfanning Norfolk Southern RR - pennman - 10-14-2009 Nice pics guys!! Love that Pennsy signal bridge! Re: Railfanning Norfolk Southern RR - LiveSteamer - 10-14-2009 Thanks pennman. It is real easy to get to that signal as I have shown. I just back away from the tracks when a train is coming either way. The engineers just wave and keep on moving. That is one of two that you can get close to around the area I railfan. There is one spot in Jimtown, Pa, just outside of portage where the signals are mounted on a highway bridge. You can actually walk up and touch them. I took quite a few photo's of them. Re: Railfanning Norfolk Southern RR - LiveSteamer - 10-14-2009 Hey guys just wanted to let you know go check out the MOW page on the website.
