Great pictures bruce.

Great catch tom. Do you by chance know what was up with the old passenger car and where it is heading?

Re: Railfanning Norfolk Southern RR - tomustang - 03-30-2011

I have no clue, all I know about it is it's a CP Rail and there's no markings on it for MOW

I'll let you know if one of the local fans talk about it

Got info from the locals
Quote:I did a little research and looked for Canadian Pacific 411249 and found the followng:

That info came from <!-- m --><a class="postlink" href="http://passcarphotos.info/Indices/C2.htm">http://passcarphotos.info/Indices/C2.htm</a><!-- m -->

In addition during my search I found this link, but it does not open:

Canadian Pacific 125 Legacy Gift

Looks like a link from CP site. I looked up the legacy, it has to do with the celebration of the completion of CP (?) There also apears to be a special exhibit train being built for this event, maybe the car will be converted into a exhibit car...ONLY A WILD GUESS...

Scroll down to find info on car 411249.

Re: Railfanning Norfolk Southern RR - rrinker - 04-13-2011

No pictures but after months of having to drive through Cotesville on a fairly regular basis I finally saw a train cross business 30 by the steel plant. Couple of covered hoppers and a couple of flats, and on the back was - A CABOOSE. Plated over windows, so it was one used as a 'switching platform' but now I can say I've seen one with my own eyes and not just in someone's picture.
