Thanks Don and Mickey! Merry Christmas and Happy Hew Year to you guys, too. Just one question, Don. Is it difficult to put Christmas lights on a cactus without getting stuck? I remember when I was about 8 years old, my buddy and I found some cactus with cactus apples growing on them. I always wanted to try a cactus apple, but I didn't have any experience with removing the thorns. The apples tasted good, but I did get a few thorns stuck in my tongue!

If you're careful, you can get them on and off without getting stuck too much. A pole with a hook on the end helps a bunch. It's probably a lot easier than putting them up around your fascia though. Icon_lol We have never done it to any of our cactus, but it is a common thing around here so it can't be too painful. Nope

We watched that last night on a CD, in B/W of course. He is indeed the only Scrooge that we'll watch anymore, we've tried the rest, and always seem to go back to the best.

Susan and I got into the spirit this afternoon and put together this gingerbread locomotive. Neither of us have ever made a gingerbread house or anything like that before and realized it's harder than we thought to do it neatly! Goldth
