Maryland's Eastern shore is an area rich in Chesapeake Bay watercraft, and an area that could be expected to have had a large narrow gauge presence. I was particularly attracted to his "marine railway", used to pull larger craft up on land for hull maintenance. That's something that isn't too often modeled.
There is a maritime museum in St. Michaels, Md. where some of that watercraft is on display. I've often been tempted to model that museum property.
