A very punny thing - Charlie B - 08-28-2010 I have wondered for years about names/jobs. We used to have a director for our district of the Ohio Dept. of Transportation whose name was Clark Street. , and seeing Ralph's sign for Mike RaPhone got me thinking that with the wit and genius of a lot of group members here that we could come up with some great ideas for model railroad enterprises. I'll post one I've come up for an example to get it started. Pete Mosse's Garden Center. Charlie Re: A very punny thing - ezdays - 08-28-2010 We use to have a UPS delivery guy named, Kent Clark, they say that he ran his route faster than anyone and earned him the nickname, "Superman"... Gee I wonder why... How about, "Clark Kent's Speedy Delivery Service"? Re: A very punny thing - eightyeightfan1 - 08-28-2010 When I was in basic training at Ft Dix, we had a guy whose name was Richard Hed. "Call me Rich" he always said. Guess you know what name he didn't want to be called. Years ago when I was into N scale, I had a rail served micro brewery, named Mike Rowe's Brewery(Home of Pink Elephant Beer). I was going to put one on the HO scale layout, but then Dirty Jobs started to air. Didn't think it was right to use that name anymore. Re: A very punny thing - jim currie - 08-29-2010 used G.N.
