Arriving late tonight from Texas, Big Blue was spotted on a rather well protected siding, near the tank depot in Fort Polk. It took 10 pounds of boiled crawfish to be able to get this dim shot, but more are to come tomorrow as my intrepid company shutterbug is camped out at the gate...

We had that coupler discussion, as the car was being built, and decided to go with the truck mounted Rapido couplers, with the thought that trucks with couplers, could be swapped out far more easily, than body mount couplers. All of my N scale rolling stock, has body mount couplers. I have a pair of trucks with Micro Trains couplers, to make the swap ( if needed ) when the car is sent out to the winning bidder, after the tour is done.
Enjoyed seeing the car's journey on the "Basic and Mostly Credible Railroad".
I would hope that, in reality, at $4/lb.,those Crawfish were an Iced cold load. :o

The couplers made me realize just how many locs I had still to convert...
Crawfish are shipped live around these parts...making for as hot a load as you can send...72 hours tops.

Well guys I lost my photos they disappeared into computer never never land. As you know I model HO, I got into the N tour because of a lack in participants. Man this thing is little. I might try to redo the photos tomorrow or Monday but not as much details involved. I really don't know how you guys do it.
