Did you know that toothpaste requires large loads of:

1. Rock salt

2. Quartz

3. Sand

4. Limestone

5. Gels

6. Dyes

And since buyers open tens of thousands of tubes a day, that's a decent number of cargo trucks or rolling stock removing your product for transport to either wholesalers or retailers and to ports for shipment around the world.

There's a reason why it's harmful to digest, it is a good polishing compound though Thumbsup

I believe that toothpaste also contains kaolin, a clay compound. There are kaolin cars (tankers) available. One large producer is OMYA, which has a large rail-served plant in Perth, not far from Ottawa:

Anyone have a toothpaste plant nearby? I assume the major manufacturers today also manufacture other cosmetics and health products at the same facility. Could be one of those places that has nearly every major kind of rail car on the facility at any given time.

Yep! I save a lot of money by using toothpaste to remove headlight oxidation instead of those fancy "bright light" kits. Thumbsup
