Re: Railfanning Norfolk Southern RR Part 2 - tomustang - 02-12-2013 Thanks Matt, I might have some rail grinder photos from today Re: Railfanning Norfolk Southern RR Part 2 - e-paw - 02-16-2013 A few shots I took from the Summit ave bridge in Jersey City yesterday. Here NS runs Parallel with the Port Authority's PATH System. Then I was off to Secaucus NJ where I found the yard drill sitting while the crew was getting lunch. Re: Railfanning Norfolk Southern RR Part 2 - tomustang - 02-20-2013 Cool shots steve! Re: Railfanning Norfolk Southern RR Part 2 - ngauger - 02-20-2013 Don't know how I missed these.... Nice Shots!!! Re: Railfanning Norfolk Southern RR Part 2 - FCIN - 02-28-2013 In less than good light - UP 1996 leads NS 224 through Waddy, KY, Feb 28, 2013, en route to Kansas City, MO Re: Railfanning Norfolk Southern RR Part 2 - e-paw - 04-14-2013 Some shots from yesterday ( 4/13/13 ) from a trip to the former CNJ yard in Allentown PA, that I took with my dad. We took a bunch of picks from the LC&N Canal toe path that is now a walking path. Re: Railfanning Norfolk Southern RR Part 2 - e-paw - 04-14-2013 Some equipment rides the hump at the same location. Re: Railfanning Norfolk Southern RR Part 2 - ngauger - 04-14-2013 Nice shots!! Someday I have to make it up there to watch the hump yard in operation Re: Railfanning Norfolk Southern RR Part 2 - Charlie B - 07-23-2013 The Black on NS can get boring, but a couple of moody shots in a thunderstorm of a westbound coal train with helpers is a little different. Charlie Re: Railfanning Norfolk Southern RR Part 2 - Bob C - 07-23-2013 Nice photos, Charlie ! Almost (not quite) makes me nostalgic for the rails and the right seat on one of these...a damp and misty "Thanks !" Bob C. Re: Railfanning Norfolk Southern RR Part 2 - cn nutbar - 07-24-2013 I think your visitor may have brought the rainy weather with him from his hometown --- Still much better railfanning than around this area |
