BLACK DIAMONDS - csiguy1970 - 08-30-2012

Been giving this topic some thought now for several months . so thought now is a good time to start it. as you can see the topic is "BLACK DIAMONDS".

anything related to coal mining is relevant this includes, photos of actual mines, photos of coal trains, or the hoppers, loaders and information used to haul ,extract it or its uses. any information pertaining to the industry past or present would be very interesting as well.

Also any photo you havs of model coal mines or model coal trains or cars of any scale would be nice to see to . as well as tips on modeling the industry itself is acceptable and helpful . ill start it off with a few photos i have taken so far this year. my hope is this thread provides some interesting/valuable information on a very important industry and hope we get to see some great t photos to.
