Does anyone know when the Mayan Apocalypse is today. I'm trying to decide if I should print out some private road name decals. P.S. I also got a set of Woodsville Terminal stickers and I'm going to attempt to print a set of Greenwich and Meridian decals for an IPD box car..

I spend a bit of time on a couple of Arizona Gun forums. I gotta tell you, some of those guys are prepared for just about anything. They have a place to go that they call their, "bug-out place", and have enough supplies, guns and ammo to get them through the toughest of times, but I have to ask them, just where to you go when it's the end, and there's nothing left?
Well, they all seemed to have made it past the crisis and will survive to bug out some other day.Me, well I slept in a little longer today just so I'd be rested if I had to move around quicker than I normally do to dodge things that would be flying around and avoiding the large cracks in the earth.
Fortunately, none of that happened today, but I am rested, just in case.

That's it, the Mayans weren't predicting the end of the world, they just hit a fiscal cliff and lost funding for their Calender Project Agency. The calender makers were put on administrative leave (at full pay of course) until the new administration appointed a Calender Czar to fund a study into why there were no more calenders past 2012.... As usual, their report isn't due until sometime around December, 2025...

That long eh? By then I'm sure a whole flock of new "nutters" will have come along telling us when the next doomsday date will be. That is of course after several more failed predictions between now and then.
