78x12 inch layout - Mike Kieran - 01-27-2013

I was playing around with Xtrackcad and came up with these small ISLs based on Jack Hills Inland Paper Plant from his New Castle Industrial Railroad that fit in getloose's available area. I'm just surprised how much can fit inside that small a space.

The same plan with a Pikestuff small engine house.

Neat !....even run the spur inside the big building . I've always liked that look and am doing that on my layout .

It is fun working with such a small space, seeing what you are able to do. I felt the same Mike, once I started messing around with Xtrk. Any ways, I like your 2 plans here, promising so far.

I forgot to say I personally like option 2 better. A little extra track, a structure and it doesn't seem to 'cram' it's self into the space.
