Nice...I see you have 295 south going into town, too.
Fluorescent lighting has been good to me and my Fuji FinePix A210, a little bright but not all that bad.

There are daylight bulbs available for fluorescent fixtures .They usually will have the letters DX in the lamp type. such as F 40 T-12DX or F 32 T-8DX. Just match the bulb type to the ballast in the fixture. That is what I have in my basement , they give me enough light that I do not need a flash.
You can see the lighting is fine ,no odd color shift. I have 7 fixtures with 4 lamps in each one mounted to the ceiling that gives me good coverage in a room 25 X 40 foot .
PS.I got so caught up in lighting I forgot to tell you that the layout looks good, nice work.

Hi...I had the same problem with an HP camera...No matter how many settings I used, I could never get rid of the greenish tones. I use both strip and screw-in fluorescents mounted on a valence to "focus" the ligthing on the layout.
I (thankfully, as it turned out...) lost that camera, and purchased a Fuji...largely based on the pictures my son had taken of the layout with his...and have never had a "green" issue with it.

Nice to see someone modeling various eras on their layout!
It looks like you are off to a great start, and I'm happy to see that you are hand laying.
Pretty cool to see a layout on which the B&O dockside switchers actually belong (unlike mine, which operated no where near the docks!)
