Quite funny, especially to this dog lover! Although our little 5lb. Yorkie doesn't talk back to us (she does try at times), we have to be very careful what we say around her. She's developed quite a vocabulary over the past 8 years and certain words cause instant reactions - especially when I say "Go for a ride"... Thank goodness she can't spell (yet!). Whenever the wife is out and about and she calls me on her cell phone, the dog instantly knows it's "Mommy" and starts whining and yelping while I'm trying to talk. Anyone else calls, she could care less. Just certain things we do, she seems to sense what's going to happen next.

Yes Ed they do understand more than most people think. I think one of the things that got me laughing the most on this video is the "Wile E. Coyote" with the broke down right ear look that this dog has.
