Yeah , it's been a nice relaxing day so far . I'm going to a classic car/ street rod cruise , shortly , BBQing steak , baked potato and asparagus when I get back , and enjoying my wife's company ...doesn't get any better than that !

We went out to John McCrae House today (McCrae was the author of In Flanders Fields) where they had a gathering of various military re-enactors from 1812 on.
Included were a ship's carpenter (from the age of sail) and a CSA soldier.
The current forces were showing a new memorial to the troops lost in Afghanistan, made from parts of a vehicle destroyed over there.
