NS Derailment at Sewickley - LiveSteamer - 07-02-2014 Crews are on the scene of a Norfolk Southern train derailment in the Pittsburgh area. WPXI-TV reports two locomotives derailed in the Sewickley area, about 13 miles northwest of Pittsburgh. There were injuries reported, but the extent of those were unknown. A nearby heath care facility was evacuated as a precaution. The 65K ( empty oil train ) rear ended the 25Z while the 25Z was stopped.
