WPMA-17 picked up 27 loaded grain cars at AGWAY, only got a few good pictures of the action.

We found this in our FA today during our work session.
It was part of a fundraising campaign when we first got hold of the Ex-BAR F-3. At that time it was just an empty shell sitting on freight trucks, now it's the only operating as built F-3 in the world painted as DL&W 664. 663 will be back up and running soon as the Generator should be delivered to Steamtown in the next few days. Don't try to contact that address for donations, if you do feel so inclined I can point you in the right direction, some additional funds would be nice for the FA, and "B" restoration.

Speaking of restoration......Toptrain and I started on rewiring the B units cab today.

Here are a few shots of the whole display.

I also tried to make some progress on my Reading Green Cars, which generated much interest. Unfortunately, the model did not handle traveling well.

Also, a Penn Central MP54 posed on my club's layout.

Shuffling off to Buffalo---our good neighbours to the south (that's right---south) were hit by a major snowfall shutting down all modes of transpotation including all railroad lines including the vital link to the Great White North.Looks like the snowplow stationed at Leetown will get some early practise as she heads to lend a helping hand

My brother-in-law had to be in Hamburg NY to take an AAR welding exam Monday morning. When he got to the yard he aced the 4 tests and was on the way home to Ohio by 11AM. He would be there until next year if he had not passed the tests so fast. He had taken the tests a week ago in southern Ohio, and everyone failed them, that's why they went to Hamburg. Of course they discovered the welding rod they were testing with in the first series was all bad.... Nope

Glad your brother-in-law made it out safely. Prayers for those still struggling with "global warming."

Back in 1968, I managed to find and buy a Gem Brass HO scale model of this loco. I had it running at Trainfest a week and a half ago. It's one of my favorite locomotives.

It doesn't look like that any more.

The Model? It's doing well and looks good too:

Thanks nut bar. I had one many years ago in the Orange scheme but I don't remember it having that large headlight. Looking forward to seeing the TLT offerings.

Here is what I have been working on lately --the bridge between the buildings and the two tanks.
