A trio of EMD F3s roll down the Avenue with a train of empty reefer cars on a sunny day in the mid 1950s.

If you're an adventurous rail-fanner the most exciting way to see the Leetown Division is in the front seat of Barney Secord's Stearman bi-plane.For a reasonable fee but a far more expensive bar bill after the flight,Barney offers the thrill of a life-time.Luckily the local hoggers know of Barney's flying antics otherwise they would think their trains were being dive-bombed by some lunatic.Just a word of advice, make sure you tighten your seat belt and a barf bag may also come in handy. Here's a couple of shots from my most recent flight.

Here is a pic of the Grande Valley Railway's newly purchased (slightly used) F-59PH and two of the Bombardier bi-level commuter coaches getting a break in run before being put into service.Loco and cars will receive GVR colours as soon as a suitable scheme can be developed.Train is moving in the picture.

Train is second hand to the GVR but is brand new from AZL.

I don't know Catt, it doesn't look like it is moving.

Catt: your pic of the Bombadier train now just shows as "image".
It seems to be accessing boylerwerx but nothing comes.
I did see it yesterday.

The CNR H-6 class engines were great multi-purpose locomotives found throughout the railway's system. The 1533 is a regular at Leetown and is often seen at Lowbanks with sister 1383.I caught the 1533 on my flight with Barney as well as some other types of steam locomotives.
