This engine lost it's cab when I needed a topeka cab for a MAW GP7u some time ago. It got a plain black painted former AT&SF cab yesterday and is back in service now. I hope to get some Pinsly signs from Highball Graphics soon. The drive has a Kato motor and runs quite nice.

GR & I 1980 the Grande Valley Railway's first ( N scale) Heritage unit.Road number comes from the year the GVR officially became a model railroad.I still have a few details to finish up but she got DCC the easy way (SD35 chassis is the same as the SD-9).I still need to figure out how I'm going to do ditch lights.

C&NW, GP15-1. Saw this in Waukegan, Il. , and had the opportunity to get close enough to take some measurements. Having never seen one of these before, chose to model it in HO.

The weathering on that GP-15 is fantastic..!!

I've got a couple UP units that could use a little grunging up...

Could you post a quick "How to" to get them to look like that..??
I'm sure more than a few of us here would like to give it a try... Thumbsup

If only these digital cameras could get depth of field right!

#968 testing with a full train of Amfleet cars. In the video I linked last week, about 4 cars were all it could handle, and not well. Now, the complete 7 car consist can run the club layout. Only minor tweaking appears to be necessary. Eventually, I'd like it to be able to haul about 9 or 10 cars up the 4% grade hill on our layout, but we'll see how much more I can squeeze out of this locomotive.
