WANTING TO BUY Roundhouse boxcab - sailormatlac - 06-29-2015 Hi, I'm actually looking for an old MDC/Roundhouse diesel boxxcab locomotives. To be precise, I'm looking for one which has doors on each ends. This is for a kitbashing project and I'll remotor completely the locomotive. To be honest, a junker, a kit with missing parts or whatever, as long the boxcab shell is there would be good enough for this project. Also, I know the 3-n-1 Battle Mountain Galloping Goose kit had the right shell with end doors. That could be an alternative. You can send me a PM. Best regards, Matt Re: WANTING TO BUY Roundhouse boxcab - shortliner - 06-30-2015 Matt - the chassis from one of these fit well and run likewise- mtake off the moving eyes mechanism eBay item number: 281734273879 - I have someboxcab body shells in a box - but just where I don't know - if I find it in the next couple of weeks I'll post on here Jack Re: WANTING TO BUY Roundhouse boxcab - sailormatlac - 06-30-2015 shortliner Wrote:Matt - the chassis from one of these fit well and run likewise- mtake off the moving eyes mechanism eBay item number: 281734273879 - I have someboxcab body shells in a box - but just where I don't know - if I find it in the next couple of weeks I'll post on here Thanks Jack. Have you ever used that mechanism? I'll need excellent slow speed performance for my project. Speed range would be 0-10mph.
