Reinhard, Those buildings show the amount of time you put into making them fit your scene. You have individualized them very well. Are these from DPM? I don't recall you writing who made the parts. Definately a two thumbs up for these. Thumbsup Thumbsup

Charlie, thanks for the kind words.
I am using buildings from of two series

a. City Classics e.g. <!-- m --><a class="postlink" href="http://www.rd-hobby.de/en/Catalog/Detail/19284">http://www.rd-hobby.de/en/Catalog/Detail/19284</a><!-- m -->
b. Lunde e.g. <!-- m --><a class="postlink" href="http://www.rd-hobby.de/en/Catalog/Detail/60716">http://www.rd-hobby.de/en/Catalog/Detail/60716</a><!-- m -->

and the fire escape 933-3729 from Cornerstone.

The Lunde kits are of better/finer quality but the stories are out of scale (to low) and do not match the Cornerstone fire escapes. The light brown right to the one with the fire escape on the photo from yesterday is a Lunde building.

That Penn Ave. Tile front is very similar to a few buildings that were in my hometown of East Liverpool, Ohio. Sadly many ae gone and the remainder are in bad repair. You are actually bringing back some memories for me too.

BB had a little hiccup ;-)

The simple Cornerstone fire escapes challenge my fingers to their limit but I got two more done today. The fine fire escapes from Vectorcut would not survive very long in my rough hands.

Some modern buildings are replaced with wasteland. I am just "baking" debris with a gypsum slurry in a flat cup. It should be ready for use tomorrow together with some red bricks.

The gaps of buildings not suitable for the theme are used as wasteland.

Reinhard, I showed the top picture (with the junk Chevy) to my wife and she thought I was showing her a scene from out some one's window. That is a great compliment and I wholly agree. Cheers

Thanks for the nice comments

The burned down three fingers house at the very west end has been replaced by a more gentle abandoned house. Many closed store roller gates, wasteland and abandoned houses are enough decay for my small layout.
