Took a step back in 'modern" for the good - tomustang - 03-07-2009 I started disliking NS, and it pushed me further when I got forced out of taking pictures of a NS rail yard because this guy said I should be taking pictures of tanker cars . well that was enough for me so NS... get out of my collection! My one and only NS object, Athearn GP50 powered. Say hello to the shell, with his new replacement right behind him! This Conrail GP40-2 shell I picked up looks great on the chassis PS: I would like to thank the jerk who works at norfolk southern for getting them expelled from my hobby. Re: Took a step back in 'modern" for the good - eightyeightfan1 - 03-07-2009 Want to part with it? I have a wrecked GP60 shell, that the GP-50 shell should fit perfect on the frame. Re: Took a step back in 'modern" for the good - sgtcarl1 - 03-08-2009 Huh!! I'm disappointed that NS treated you so shabbily. I've been taking pictures of anything and everything in and around their railyard in Salem. Nary a peep from anyone!! They've even watched me taking pictures!! I've photographed almost every type of railcar there is. Even took some photos of their shop in Raonoke, several times. Wanna sell that loco?? I'd really love to have it Re: Took a step back in 'modern" for the good - tomustang - 03-08-2009 Sorry guys it's been claimed by my father.. |
