Lindsay Train Show. - Will_Annand - 03-17-2009 How many here are going to the Lindsay Train show on April 4-5? I will be there, but not with the shop. I will be at the NMRA modellers corner. I will have the 60cm x 90cm mini layout that normally resides in the shop, going to do some touch ups on it. Also I will have my latest build for the CVR on hand, I will be taking 2 Cheltenham Stations and bashing them into an L-shaped factory building. This will be going on the CVR between Forks and Cataract. If you are coming, please drop by and say hello. The Lindsay show sounds good. At the moment, I don't think I have anything on that weekend, so the Lindsay show is a possibility. How large is it (or how approx. how many layouts) and do you know if they have any British layouts there? Thanks, Rob Re: Lindsay Train Show. - Will_Annand - 03-18-2009 Robert, the show is held in the Armoury building. I know that the NMRA has the back room upstairs, beside the cafeteria. The main room is a fair size, the building and grounds cover a block downtown Lindsay. Not sure of the actual dimensions. There will be local vendors there, and usually about 6-8 layouts. Usually split between HO and N Scale. I also know that some of the NMRA guys will be doing "Clinics For Beginners" Their advertisment says 35th Annual. Victoria Park Armoury Adults $5.00 Seniors and Students $4.00 with ID. Children 6-12 $2.00 Under 6 Free For more info: www.trainweb.org/ldmr Re: Lindsay Train Show. - RobertInOntario - 03-18-2009 Will_Annand Wrote:Robert, the show is held in the Armoury building. Thanks, Will. It sounds good and I appreciate this info. Rob Re: Lindsay Train Show. - Will_Annand - 03-18-2009 By the way Robert, I am not affiliated with the show at all. I am just going as an NMRA member. |
