Re: Sarge's Engine Roster - Trucklover - 03-18-2009 Sweet Jim!! You got some nice locos as well!! Looking forward to seeing some of those project locos when they roll off the workbench.... i mean out of the engine/re-build shop Re: Sarge's Engine Roster - Ralph - 03-23-2009 Fantastic collection Sarge! Your locomotive service area makes a perfect backdrop for them! Ralph Re: Sarge's Engine Roster - Sarge - 03-23-2009 Thanks Josh and Ralph The previous locos were done pretty much right after I got back in the hobby. The next 4 are just completed with some of the "new" detailing techniques I have learned. Feel free to comment good or bad. Thanks for looking. First is a GP50M. It is a BB GP50 wreck rebuild with a -8 wide cab. (small railroads have to use whats available ) Re: Sarge's Engine Roster - Sarge - 03-23-2009 SD40M-2. BB SD40-2 wreck rebuild with a RPP sd60M cab. (this was a real wreck rebuild after it hit the concrete :o ) Mostly done except a few minor details and some light weathering. What'chya think? Looks like I need to fix the windshields : Re: Sarge's Engine Roster - Sarge - 03-23-2009 GSB SD40-2 415. I thought these had a lot of detail included with them for a model made in the early 80's. |
