logging area ?

I have this area where I am thinking about putting this sawmill and out buildings.

I am totally new to logging of any kind, so I was hoping somebody could advise me on how to arrange the buildings and how many tracks I might need. I am thinking two tracks, one for the loaded and empty log cars and one for box cars for the finished lumber and hoppers for chips.
ON the diagram, the area is the 2 by 4 ft area on the bottom. The track on the left will be approximately 4 to 6 inches above the area.

I forgot to mention, I will not have room for a log pond, so I think the logs would be unloaded with a skidder and then stacked until the logs go to the mill. Would this work ?

first off,yes your idea would work,not all sqwmills had a pond,they either used cranes or some sort of dozer with a grapple.but heres something yoll really like.its like my pocket bible for logging and helped with alot of my wierd questions.hope you like it --josh
