new question, old answers

Well, I've looked carefully and closely, and can't find an answer....so...can anyone, (or everyone,) show/tell me how to wire an Atlas #215 controller, and an Atlas #220 connector? Sil vous pleasey?
I only know what I know, and I don't understand very much of it, either.

I've only used the one with the 3 switches in line. It turns on and off 3 blocks.
2 wires come into the side from your power pack. 2 wires at the top go to each block. the switch turns off one of these wires. If you double gap your blocks, you need to wire this way. If you use common rail wiring with only a single rail gapped, you only need to run one of the wires. (I forget which one). More of these units can be bolted on the side with the bits supplied. So the unit is essentially 3 SPST switches with a common source.

In model railroading, there are between six and two hundred ways of performing a given task.
Most modellers can get two of them to work.

I have the Atlas book on using these and there are several ways they can be wired into your system, depending on what specific tasks you're asking of them.
