In 1955 brand new CNR GP9 #4409 arrived in Leetown from the GMDD plant in London Ontario.Many of the seasoned veteran steam hoggers have mixed feelings as they sense some big changes ahead.

Steam lovers need not worry as the Management team at Leetown are committed to operating their steam locomotives on a permanent basis.A recent quote from CEO S.E.Boyd made the Leetown Division's intentions very clear: "As long as I'm in charge those steam locomotives aren't going anywhere"---no one ever questions the CEO's decisions.
