Not sure in which part of this forum to place this, but I think this is the best one.
I came accross this website today, which shows off some beautiful modeling including how-to's etc.

Hi Torikoos,
That's the work of Paul Templar, a member and administrator of a former incarnation of this very forum. Paul was certainly a talented modeller and shared his talents in the huge amount of material he put out. He started A.M.R after leaving us, and included a similar forum that has a good following in addition to his "how -to" pages.
Paul passed away in November 2008.

A quick glance at the site reveals alot of info. I'll be checking that site out in depth as time arises. Thanks for sharing the link.

Most of here know this site. Paul Templar, AKA shamus, was a long time member of the original Big Blue (The-Gauge), and a close friend.
And yes, he did some beautiful work.

AHAaaaaa! THAT was Shamus! All the different little tidbits I'd read here and there on several different threads on this Forum, especially a couple that had to do with scratch-building using cereal boxes and coffee cups and such ... they are all starting to come together now!

Shamus (Paul) specialized in logging railroads in a number of different scales and layouts.
Robin was the modeller known for his cardboard (what he called "cerealboard") creations. Most of them were in N scale too... Sadly he has also passed. Many of his creations can be seen in a special section of our old Academy here: http://www.zealot.com/forum/forumdisplay.php?f=267

Funny, it's a small world isn't it :-)
I enjoyed reading his creations and I've picked up a few ideas there already :-)
