Great photos! Beautifully scenicked layout too! It is great to see the car on the move again. I was beginning to get worried it was "lost" in the mail somewhere.....
Happy railroading!

Well - it didn't stay out of sight long this time Big Grin Big Grin Big Grin Big Grin As the last run of the day on the MF&W RR came in and began backing up to the GERN plant.. It was apparent that there was a not so conventional load on the flat that usually holds the Transformer.

A closer look revealed that it was - in fact - the Big Blue N Scale Tour Car !! Eek Eek

The "Last Run" was instructed to take the car out to Carolton Junction and couple it up to the main Freight to be moved to the barn so it could be photographed.

The "G" Gauge Big Blue Hopper car dwarfs the little N gauge Boxcar Smile Smile Smile

OK _ Time to take it off the mooring and set it in place......... In The Shed That Robin (Matthyro) built. Which is in front of the G gauge shed - "I" built along with him Smile Smile Smile Note the NARA Banner above the shed doors Smile Smile Original link: viewtopic.php?f=10&t=32&hilit=robin

Well after visiting a bit more, the car was brought in to meet some more of the N Gauge stuff I have.

A bridge, on top of a few pieces of the Terra Cotta block that was part of the Baldwin Buildings in Eddystone, PA.

One of our members graffitied the bridge too Smile I mounted it on the 2 pieces of block and keep it on a shelf near my desk Smile

The N car took a bit of a detour to dirtyharry's nearby home layout. I took a few pics as the car passed by some of the great city scenes Harry has on the layout.
A few pics of the overall layout.

A few GG-1's waiting to leave:

The "far corner" of the "L" shaped layout, the Gauge Tour car is in there somewhere:

The right end if the "L":

The car was in one of the pictures above, but lets see if we can take a few good ones Big Grin Big Grin Big Grin

Traveling around the town:

A little different angle showing more layout details and a "reflection" of the train and Gauge Car in the mirror behind the layout:

I caught the car as it crossed the grade crossing, showing the street scene:

.... and finally a close up of The Gauge Car as it passed a Soo Line caboose and a few School buses - with flashing lights, of course!!! Goldth Goldth
