Hi,

As mentioned in an earlier thread by Jack (Shortliner) Jon Grant's superb new layout, 'Sweethome Alabama' made it's first public appearance
at the Newcastle show today.

I went along today and enjoyed meeting and having a chat with Jack and Jon. With Jon's permission I took a few pics and thought I'd share them with you.

Beautiful, very beautiful. I am most impressed by the various ground cover he did.

Very impressive work. I like the very subtle weathering and "aged" look that's everywhere on the layout. Really great modeling. Looking at the various ground covers is a tutorial all in itself.

You are correct Ralph, the layout is HO scale.
