We have two new auctions going. Both end on June 3. The first one is an HO 40' Big Blue 10/2 anniversary boxcar. It can be found here:
http://www.the-gauge.net/forum/viewtopic...=78&t=6723

The second auction is for an N scale PBS, "Tracks Ahead" car and can be found here:

Please visit these threads and bid on these cars if you can. 100% of the proceeds goes to support these forums.

Just a reminder folks, we've got both this auctions in full swing and bidding had be brisk but seems to have stalled a bit. Now's the time to jump in there and get a great bargain and a treasure.

Remember too that everything that these auctions bring in do directly to supporting Big Blue. Think of this as a family affair, not only a way of contributing to the support of these forums but getting something back in the forum of a keepsake car.

See you at the auctions...... Welcome Welcome Welcome

Just in case you have forgotten all about these two auctions, I feel obligated to remind you. It's been a while since we had any bids in both the HO anniversary car and the N scale PBS gondola. Both of these are going to be keepsakes of your time here at Big Blue, so if you can, bid what you can afford. If you can't, we fully understand. We just don't want you to miss out on this golden opportunity to own one of these super-valuable cars. Plus the great feeling knowing that your bid will go directly and fully to help support Big Blue. These are our auctions, we pay no listing or selling fees or commissions, so we get 100% of the proceeds to help pay the bills.

We thank those that have already bid, they do need a bit more competition though. Cheers

We have just about a week left for both these auctions. We've got some really great bids on both cars, but in case you forgot, all, yes, 100% of the proceeds go to support these forums.

To paraphrase those TV ads selling booze, if you bid, we want you to bid responsibly. Big Grin In other words, we don't want to you bid more than you can afford. Bid only if you want to and can. We will have other cars coming up soon, so you will have other chances, but once they're gone, they're gone. We will not be making more of these Anniversary cars. All of these, even the PBS cars, will come with a certificate showing where they originated from.

You're not going to let these walk away from you, are you????????? 2285_ 2285_

We have a nice spirited auction going for the HO anniversary car, but don't forget, we still have the N scale PBS car up for auction as well.

We are down to the last few days for both, so let's hear for anyone that still wants to bid... Welcome Welcome

Just an update, but there is spirited bidding on our HO anniversary car auction, feel free to jump in if you can.

The N scale PBS gondola auction has kind of stalled though. Right now the leading bid is somewhat under the selling price from PBS. I know you can buy them at the PBS web site, but that wouldn't benefit Big Blue if you did that. You will be getting a car graciously donated by our own Tyson Rayles (Mike), and will come with a certificate showing it was won in an auction here at Big Blue.

Let's get with it folks, we are down to the last two days of these auctions... Welcome Welcome

OK folks, last chance. We're down to the last 24 hours of these auctions. High bids so far:
  • HO anniversary car: $62.50
    N scale PBS car: $14.00
Just like on eBay, I'm sure many of you are waiting the last minute to steal the bid Wink , but it won't hurt to get them in a bit earlier. Thumbsup
