Cutting Driveshaft?

What do you guys use to cut a driveshaft to size when installing a new motor and gearbox?

A cut-off disc in a Dremel works well. Apply some masking tape over any holes in the motor case, to keep the cutting residue out. I usually hook jumper wires from my shop powerpack to the motor so that it's turning as the cut is made - medium speed is fine. Once you've made the cut(s), use the face of the disc to lightly chamfer the cut edges while the motor is still turning. Use light pressure for this, as it's easy to shatter the disc with too much force. Wear eye protection.
