Free online hi resolution Aeriall photos

It takes a little figuring out and there are lots of uncovered areas and years, but when you hit an area that you have an interest in, and the picture is there these are great. You have to download a free program to unzip the photos which are compressed Tiffs and range from 70 to a hundred MB. once you select a picture and hit download it can take as long as 5 minutes before the download starts.

Here is just a very small portion of a photo from March, 1952 showing the track pans at Grafton Yard just west of Leetonia, Ohio It is reduced so I can post it here. You can see the water towers and the pump house are still in place but the pans were out of service in 1950

I have had pretty good luck, but I know they have a set from the 30's that are not there in my area yet, but I have found some great stuff that proves my memory right and I can show the young uns what was.
