I added the walkways on the turntable. I guess the shop workers wouldn't like to jump between the ties...

Here is the 2400 step per rotation motor:

It is big, but that doesn't matter when mounted underneath the table.

Heavy Duty motorization for a very neat model! You did a very nice job on that turntable.

The gearbox for my turntable is printed!
It is drawn in Solid works and the parts are printed in ABS for the gears, and PLA for the housing.
Now it is time to install it and see how it works.

I have painted the walls on my Como roundhouse and glued them together.
This kit must be a solid 12 on a 1 to 10 difficulty scale.... there are just so many things that has to work out in the end.
So far no bigger errors (I hope...)

Well, almost stone by stone...
I painted with 6 different colors but as I had a tan primer, I could skip 1/3 or so.

I have spiked some more tracks.
The curved approach track with a 28" radius was made with the wonderful laser cut sweep sticks that a friend in the US made for me.
Here are some pics of where in the project I am right now.

The roundhouse area is getting closer to completion.
A whole lot of details and weeds are still to be added....
The roof is currently being covered with tissue paper.
