Continental Modeller Magazine Free
#1
Hey Kids,

I've got a stack of a couple dozen magazines free to a good home.

Mostly Continental Modeller Magazine

Prefer to give them to someone in or near Toronto, Ontario, Canada so you can pick them up or I can drop them off without dealing with postage.

Have you considered donating them to your local library or leaving them in the waiting room at your doctor's office?

I plan to donate a batch of stuff to a local train club.

They can use or sell it.

I work at the Toronto Public Library and I can tell you that unless they already have a subscription to a particular magazine they have no use for a handful of random magazines.

Unless you have a complete set of a publication they can only hope that you can replace one or two damaged copies that they already have.

However, I never thought of dropping them off at a doctors' waiting room.

I belong to Friends of the Library which sells used books from the library and from donations and gives the money back to the library. Being as we have an excursion RR here we get lots of RR tourists thru here and any RR books or mags fly off the shelf! I have also left some at my doctors waiting rooms but when I return they are always gone Eek . I asked if the staff was throwing them out but they said no, the patients were taking them home. 2285_

We have Friends of the Public Library book sales here too.

Train books and magazines don't seem to sell around here and they end up giving them to me...
