Illinois Central Paducah Sand Domes
#1
Per request, I drew up an Illinois Central "Paducah" sand dome that can be 3-D printed on Shapeways:

I'm a little surprised that such an item is not manufactured by the major detail parts suppliers as there seem to be many IC modelers out there. This was fun to draw up, and I hope it helps out those wanting to model IC steam.

I actually saw that on shapeways yesterday while searching for something else.

Hopefully as time goes on, more unique stuff will shoe up shapeways.

The person who requested the dome sent me plans for 6 different versions. The completed one was the simplest. I've started work on another, but has more complex curvature and will be more of a challenge!
