Thank you Duffy, unread posts now working
#1
Well, I knew that putting Duffy on the case was the right thing to do. His new knowledge (thanks to a lighting strike) drove him in the right direction.

Here's what we would like you all to do in order to insure that the unread posts function will work for you:

  1. Go to the bottom of the page and click on "mark all forums read"
  2. Log out
  3. Log back in
All the green dots should now be gray, unless there's a new unread post in that forum
All threads with unread posts will now have the green arrow the the left of the thread no matter how you got there.
In other words, the unread post function is now working as it was before this happened about a week ago.

A big round of thanks and applause is in order for our webmaster, Pat (aka: Duffy, Flattbear, and/or Packey) Applause Applause Applause Applause

Thank you Duffy. That is the function of the forum that I use the most.

In model railroading, there are between six and two hundred ways of performing a given task.
Most modellers can get two of them to work.

Looks like a global solution. It works on both sides of the big pond ;-)
