Ed - I love your steamers.

Here is what I have on tap for the weekend or more. Building, repairing, and weathering. Yes I do have obsessions with certain types of cars. Besides these Chateau Martin reefers I have two other wood express reefers from Roundhouse and two steel ones by Intermountain. I have one more Roundhouse on the way in the mail. All goes well I plan on running a unit train of them duplicating a train from I think the thirties that ran from California to the Bronx. The only difference was the real train was tank cars of wine.





I will post a run by sometime this weekend (not reefers).

Deano - Everything in the photo is great. The locomotive, the creek, the highway bridge, etc.

As far as the reefers go I have encountered a problem. The four in the top photo and the one unwrapped in the second photo will require #26 long shank couplers. The coupler pockets do not reach the edge of the car body. #5 couplers are partially under the body. Of course I need 10 couplers and I only have 6. Now I have to order some more. The #5 couplers work on the other reefers.
