Jim, I too recall reading of- and viewing his creations, as Ernest "Mooney" Warther was an incredible carver, and a true craftsman.

Wayne I have the April 1970 MR  that had the layout on him and was wondering what happened to his work, from the one link it looks like the museum is still open . and your right the man was a true master with wood carvings wish I had  a 10th of his talent when it comes to carving.
