Shelf Queens

True model railroaders will probably disagree but I like to display some of my locomotives on a shelf---this way I can enjoy them outside of the train room.

They look fine on a shelf but in my case, Mary  has the decoratin' items in the house, I have the train barn, and since I have the bigger space it is only fair.  Icon_e_biggrin

Yeah, if I put any of my train stuff on a shelf that wasn't in my workshop, there'd be an outbreak of "dusting accidents", and "Oh, it was broken, so I threw it in the garbage - you have lots of other ones anyway."

On the week I drop dead, the garbage men will have to bring an extra truck, just for the train stuff and my corpse.  There'd probably be some sort of party, too.

If we were just a little bit closer to Lake Ontario, I could probably get a Viking funeral - me and the train junk in a blaze of molten plastic, heading east, then down. Misngth
