Nothing like claiming space and letting your imagination work out how you'll like things to be. I have similar shots back in 2006 - hope your layout progress is a lot faster than mine!

Got the pensinula built amd foam glued down over the past couple of months. Time always seems to be in short supply for modeling and with the weather getting warmer I'll be spending a lot less time inside so there may not be any progress until fall.

Are you going to lay any roadbed under that track, Stephen? I thought about laying track right on foam board, but I wanted that "raised" look, so went ahead and laid down cork on top of the foam.

This looks amazing. I love a well-thought freelance railroad. Looking forward to more developments!
