Who knew that model railroading would prove a valid reason to get the wife to agree that we "need" a digital camera with a flash stick? She's tired of me asking her to photgraph stuff with her cellphone and then transmit it to the Sprint site and download it back to us. Can't blame her - only an outfit like Sprint could come up with such a cumbersome and unworkable plan in the first place.

The trick is to know the alternate uses of "necessary" tools, as in your miter saw example.
Speaking of "necessary tools," does having a Shopsmith MkV model 520, mean anything?? I mean how many power tools does it count as??

Easy stuff there. Talk about the Allegheny a lot. Get a small box write Allegheny on it , put some money in it. Add to it every once in a while. Keep it where she can see it . Make sure she sees you putting money in it.
