Today I got all the block wiring done and in the panel picture the only switch missing is in the lower center and it will be the master DCC OFF DC switch. The brown short track will be the Program track for DCC.
The second shot shows the backside and the amphinal cable to connect the panel to the layout.
Mike
That looks incredible!
I love how your switches are colored the same as your tracks on the control panel, really great job! Nice job on keeping your wiring neat underneath!
Thanks Scott and thanks for following along !!
Mike
I have all the wiring done and just need to tie it all up and have the 110V wiring done and the DC and DCC are connected. I have also re-installed the Walthers indexed table , engine shed and modified roundhouse.
Please take a minute and take a look at part 5 on video.

Hi Mike, you have really progressed since I last peeked in on your thread, you are working some magic here sir.
I am really impressed with your panel, I have never seen anything quite like it. ( not that I have seen many anyway) but it is quite unique, can I ask what gave you the idea to make it 3D like?
And I am at a loss to know how you painted it all so beautifully, if it was me I am sure it would have looked like my 2 yr old grandchild's first colouring - in book.
... can you divulge your secret to the good colouring in?
I will certainly be back here to see the line progress.

Thanks Jack , I saw the idea some time ago in Model Railroader and have made all my panels like this since. I paint the board with a regular spray can and LET IT DRY THUROUGHLY , then I use paint pens to color the tops of the raised styrene. It is really easy. The paint pens I used this time you may find at an art supply store. We have stores here called Hobby Lobby and I got them there.
Thanks Again , Mike
Nice progress Mike!! nice to see things coming together again
