I think they look great. Thanks Roger...... here is all the beer cars but im only going to get the ones from wisconsin. http://www.greenwayproducts.com/a_beercars.shtml
Greenway usually has a vendor area at Trainfest, in Milwaukee, in November. I've purchased several items from them, and have always been happy with the products. I don't usually purchase anything "online", but I would have no problem dealing with Greenway, they're a "known business", to me.
I asked the same question before on another forum, with good results

Here's my method of trying a new shop..I make a token "test" order and see how it goes..
I never been burn yet even tho' 2 or 3 was mighty slow-3 weeks from the time I ordered to the time my order arrived..Needless to say I was not a repeat customer since most on line shops I deal with has a quick turn around 3-7 days..
About all I know is they carry a wide selection of steam locomotive drivers - at 18 bucks a pop Eek
Thanks for the help guys. I did what brakie suggested and ordered one car. Sounds like they are a company that has been around a while. I just hope the club dont mind a beer train running around at our shows Big Grin Thanks again Roger

If your club is like any other one I've seen at shows(SD90MAC's and C44's running with Big Boys and GP9's) I wouldn't worry.
Plus it would be pretty cool.

Well,I seen billboard reefers pulled by AC44s.. :o

Most clubs the membership is free to run what ever they like..

Most shocking is GG1s,Acelas or HHP-8s running without Catenary.. 357
Well got my beer car in the mail and it came in about 5 days so im happy with greenway products. Now to call them and see if they will do a deal on 45 cars Misngth Any thoughts on a loco/locos to pull the train around? It needs to be a wisconsin based line since the cars are all from wisconsin. I am looking at some e7's ,looks like milwaukee rd had some . Any thoughts would be appreciated. Thanks Roger
I think the E units would be mostly used in passenger service. They had a-1-a trucks so the center axle on each truck was an idler. For freight service most roads preferred all axles to be powered. The exception was that in some branch line service they might use a locomotive with an a-1-a arrangement to reduce the axle weight on light rail. I think a set of F-7's in Soo or Milwaukee Road would be a better choice. I'm not sure if CB&Q or CNW operated in Wisconsin or not. I think Grand Trunk Western may have connected Minnesota and Wisconsin to Canada. I suspect almost everyone here knows more about what railroads operated in Wisconsin than I do.
How about one of these??

If you can't find one, maybe one of the artistic doctors here, would paint one for you. Goldth
For what it's worth, all this time later, I ordered a "Four Pack" of 1936 Chrysler Airlows ($40.00) which is a nice savings from $15.98 apiece. Three days later, when I walked down the driveway and opened the mailbox, there was Priority Mail package in there! Three days! Boy, was I surprized! I'd order from them again. Cheers

Two of those Airflows will look real nice in the showroom if the Chrysler Auto Dealership in town Thumbsup
