M&ET SW1500 #1501 was originally built in June of 1966 as ex. Cotton Belt (SSW) as #2489, and then to Ex-Southern Pacific #2491 with the merger. Then went to ex Vancouver Wharves #823. The M&ET bought the loco in November of 2006. #1501 is still in service today and is in the M&ET SW1500 paint Scheme:

This unit will be an Athearn RTR model custom painted for the M&ET in the paint scheme above.
M&ET Genset RP20BD #2000 was originally built new for the M&ET in November of 2008. M&ET #2000 was formally a Railpower GG20B demonstrator unit for RPRX #2404. When the M&ET ordered the RP20BD, a quick conversion was made on the RPRX #2404 to transform it into the M&ET RP20BD. M&ET acquired the locomotive in December of 2008. Here is the M&ET paint scheme for #2000
