My favourite ALCo-powered road, though, is the
KISKI JUNCTION, in Schenley, Pa.
I was fortunate to get a ride in their track inspection vehicle:

I was even allowed a short stint at the throttle, although the crew managed to regain control before I made a "wrong turn".

Yes I did.The SFLR is listed as a short line no longer in exsistance in my '96 edition and therefore I had forgotten about it since there wasn't any information.:oops:

There was a track gang working today replacing ties on the CF&E just East of the Whetstone Street crossing.
Here's what I found waiting on a signal at ColSan.A honest to goodness CF&E GP38-2!
